Facing The Fear Off Failure & Finding Success in 2010

I really love the lifestyle that comes from running Layoff Your Boss Marketing my online business. I get to work  from home each day, set my own hours, enjoy abundant income. It’s hard for me to imagine ever going back to work for someone ever again.  When I think about income generation, I immediately think of one thing and that is the Internet.

Having the pleasure of running my own business and helping others to learn how to do the same has it’s moments of sadness as well for me.

This sadness he Giants and Finding Success!

comes from the countless numbers of people that come to looking for help and stop short of success when they have to face their Giant that has been a part of their life for way to long.

One of my all time favorite songs is by Casting Crowns called, The Voice Of Truth.

In this song there is a portion of the verses that is all to familiar with to many people that are trying to find the success and greatness in their life that God has created them to live in…

    But the giant’s calling out
my name and he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times
   I’ve tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
     time and time again
   ”Boy you’ll never win,
      you’ll never win.”

Each time we move forward ready to accomplish wonderful and mighty things we hear our Giant calling out to us once again…

Do you recognize your giant?  I bet you do… I bet You recognize everything about him as he taunts you over and over again.

Every time you think your getting someplace he reminds you with and endless pile of bills you can’t pay, your past failures,  or an unclear future that seems just to unbearable to face.

What is your giant? Fear, doubt, discouragement, past failures, being demoralized, Overwhelmed, goals not yet realized?

Each time When the Giant roars we begin to fret and waver from the path to success we began to follow.  Our confidence becomes diminished and we start to move with a bit of reluctance. 

Instead of Courageously facing our Giants and standing strong we begin to focus on our giant and instantly look for ways to cope with our struggles, and we slouch in defeat once again.

So why is it that so few people follow through and find success?  Because, often times the kind of support and encouragement they need just isn’t there.

They also focus on past events and experiences and the pains that come along with it.  Our mind begins to tell us to move away in order to not experience the same pain it felt from past failures.

This doesn’t have to be you!

What if, starting today, the Giant in your life’ didn’t have the power to stop you anymore?

I could have given up when I first got started and I almost did.  I could have said, “it is to hard…” or’ “I can’t!”  Oh wait a minute I did say those things.  I could have given in to the giant when he kept telling me I was not going to make it before I drowned in the mounting pile of bills piling up or the countless bill collectors calling me asking for money to pay my debts that were a constant reminder that  I had none to give them, and I was a failure as the financial provider for my family.

I could have stopped and given in to the giant of fear when I was faced with things I did not understand or know about running an online business. But I didn’t and you don’t need to loose your battle with your giant either.

Here is just a small list of the things that helped me face my Giants and begin running a very successful online business  and has allowed me to help a lot of people do the same.

Focus.

Accomplish and Celebrate the small victories.

Keep forward Momentum going at all times.

Doing things in order of their importance.

Good Mental Pictures of what I was pursuing.

Knowing my strengths and weaknesses, and focusing on the strengths and allowing others to take care of the weaknesses that were their strengths.

Positive thinking: The more positive you are, the better your life will be in every area. Physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, etc…

Replace negative thoughts with positive ones: Such as “I can do it!” instead of “I can’t.”

Doing my best to become a person of value, not a person of success.  What is success without  instilling value in the lives of someone else along the way.  Focus on getting to a point of giving value to others and success will follow.

Asking better questions… Not being afraid of sounding dumb when asking a question

Intelligent self education.

Self Worth: You need to believe in yourself before anyone else will. If you truly believe in yourself  then nothing is impossible.

New mindset. You must become a success in your thinking long before you achieve it in your reality. This is the most important single step you will ever take on the road to wealth financial freedom or any success at all.  You need to develop an unshakable belief that you can and will achieve  your success goals.

Find Mentors… Model success! Learn from the successful. Those you hang around you will become.

Building a team. Put a team in place that will keep you encouraged, give you accountability, that has the strengths that compliment your weaknesses. and someone to celebrate your success with.

The choice is yours. There is hope and help available, all you need to do is choose change. There’s no better time than right now. If you want to learn how to conquer your Giant and take charge of your success  my team is here to help!

 New Years 2010, How to Achieve Success!

New Years 2010…Can you believe it…. 2009 is ready to come to a close already and it is time to make your New Years resolutions 2010… STOP!  Don’t make them!

It is time for you to make those year end assessments  and take a really good look at where your at right now.  As you noticed I did not say make them New Years Resolutions!

Forget about those New Years Resolutions… They have not worked in the past, what makes ya think they will work this time around.

You are going to achieve success in 2010 only by a proper assessment of your current situation and then using it as your starting point to strategically move forward to achieving your goals!

Really take a look at what you did have success with in 2009 and how it was made possible, and look at the things that failed and why they failed.

I don’t want you to focus on how you got there, or who  you feel was responsible for getting you to your current place.

Take a real good look at where your at though right now… because no matter where that place is at… god or bad… it is your starting point for 2010.

It does not matter if you like the place your currently at or not.  The plain simple truth is where your at…is where your at.  Do not beat yourself up if you don’t like your assessment.  It is not about the good or bad you reveal in your assessment… Its how we move forward from today that really counts.

Take the time to acknowledge the strengths and positives you  find during your assessment and draw from them. Let them propel you forward.

Begin focusing on all of the things you currently have  that are positive no matter how big or small they may seem to you. You need to appreciate all of the things you currently have no matter how small or big what you have seems.

As we head into 2010 you need to go in with a positive attitude armed and ready for success.

Im quite sure that as you look at your current status you  will see that when 2009 is all said and done that there was  more said than more actually got done.

Guess what… It does not matter one bit…  What matters is that you are ready to move forward from this place you find yourself at and work towards your goals!  It is time to take action!

Without action you remain stuck in a rut.

Where your at right now is where you are going to start 2010 from.  You can’t go back and do a 2009 re-do, so why dwell on it.

2010 is yours to shape though.

I had a young guy get stuck in my yard yesterday when he spun out of control on the ice and ended up buried in a snowdrift.

Well he would still be there if he would not have taken some action to remove himself from the ruts he dug into my lawn.

Another guy came along and tied on a tow rope ready to pull him out but unfortunately he did it all wrong. 

He himself backed off into my lawn to tie on and when he went to pull the other guy out he buried himself in my  lawn as well.

He did not keep his vehicle on a solid base and ended up in the same place the other guy did.  STUCK IN MY Lawn that is now full of big Ruts!

The 3rd guy that came along knew what needed to be done and he proceeded to pull them both out and get them back on the road to reaching their destination.

As we end 2009 and start out 2010 here is my advice to you.

1.  Assess your current point in life and acknowledge it.  (remember it does not matter how or who got you there..  and don’t beat yourself up if you don’t like your assessment.)

2.  Focus on the positive things you have right now… No matter how big or small.

3.  Find someone or something that is already on a good solid base to tie on to.  (model Success… Find a mentor that cares about where your heading)

4.  Know that you can’t control some of the things that happen, but you can control your response to them!

5.  Celebrate every small successes you have. It is the small things that are going to keep you going.  (When I was in the Marine Corps I learned pretty fast it did not take a very big bomb to make a big hole on Impact!)  It is important to have your big lofty end goals but that is not where your focus should be.  Our big lofty goals will always be re-shaped and revised.  Focus on the samll action oriented achievable goals that are going to get you to the end results.  No matter how small or insignificant a success may look or seem… it is importnat to remember it was a success and it needs to be celebrated in a big way.

6.  I Can’t or it is impossible is no longer in your vocabulary for 2010.  Who the heck told you that you can’t?  Who the heck is telling you it is impossible.  It is nothing but a big lie.  (I know that all things are possible through Christ who gives me strength and there is nobody that will ever convince me differently ACCEPT ME!) Time for a new vocabulary!

How To Make Money With Private Label Rights Products

Private Label Rights or as you may have seen it before PLR is a great way to finally make money online without creating your own product.  I used to be a little intrigued with this option of owning my own product but never really gave it the attention it really deserved.

I thought to really be successful online I needed to create my own product completely from scratch… Start to Finish!

Well, I have taken a renewed interest in Private Label Rights (PLR for short) and am seeing some serious potential for using it to make money online… It actually has went beyond just seeing potential… I have been making some very serious money online by investing in Private Label Rights products, as well as creating products and selling Private Label Rights to the product I created.

Private label rights, or PLR products are becoming more and more popular all the time online… simply because it’s a great way for you to have an instant product to sell to your market for pure profit.

Product creation seems to be a big wall for many that keeps them from ever making some real serious money online. Well it does not have to be anymore.

Let someone else create your product for you. PLR products are products that are written or created by someone else, which you can buy and put your name on as if it’s your own. Basically, it’s a product that you can buy with the same rights for its use as if you had made it yourself. OK, you have to admit that just seems to remove any walls of the product creation fear!

PLR comes in many different forms such as articles, reports, graphics, videos, audio, software, and even ebooks… There are just so many different forms of PLR to choose from.

What Can I do With Private Label Rights Products

So you did it again…. Another sales page filled with all sorts of good hype and promises of riches un-told if you will just buy the rights to this awesome product and claim it as your own.  Using its crafty persuasion tactics it slowly lures you to the Big Buy Now button just waiting for you like a lion stalking its prey.

OK I guess I am getting carried away a little… but I know that is how you feel.  And guess what it seems to work more times than not.

Don’t believe me go and look on your desk top of your computer right now and locate all of the products you have bought Private Label Rights to that you have done nothing with.

There they are just collecting dust instead of collecting cash into your bank account.

I love Private Label Rights Products.  Plain and simple good good stuff.  Well only if you use them that is.  I don’t really care if I got one that seems like junk once I open it up and look at it.  Those are the diamond in the rough Products like I like to call them.  Those are the ones with so much potential to change.

I have turned many $2-$5 Six page Private Label rights ebooks into 10-12- week or module courses and sold the courses for $497.00  Now that is some serious return on my investment.  Heck I can spend $5 and turn it into a six figure launch.  Of course I have several Joint Venture partners that I can easily contact and have them send out my offer to their list.  But in time you can do the same thing if you get busy and take advantage of the gold mines just setting there waiting for you to start mining.

Private Label Rights allow you to take content that you paid for, alter it in any way you choose (and in fact, it’s encouraged), put your name as the author and use it on the ‘net in ways that help you generate traffic and sales. You can use it for your own products and services or as an affiliate promoting other people’s stuff.

One of the easiest ways for me to take a simple ebook that I have complete Private Label Rights too, is to create a series of PowerPoint presentations from the content that comes from my 6-10 page PLR ebook.

I recently took a 6 page PLR ebook that gave 4 quick and easy tips to generating quick profits and turned it into several weeks of content.  The ebook itself was filled with very little content and mostly full if filler fluff.  Basically useless information.  But it was enough to give me ideas to begin building from.  I started out by Creating  a PowerPoint presentation for each of the 4 quick and easy ways to make money online.

For example one of the ideas was; Answer Questions.  It told them to go to Yahoo. Answers and look for questions people were asking and then right Reports answering the questions and include your Affiliate links to product recommendations and then give away for free and earn commissions.

Basically that is all the real value I got out  that particular section of the ebook.  The rest was filler which added up to about 600 words or so.  What that gave me was a gold mine waiting to be mined.

I created the PowerPoint Basically teaching the Idea of Answering Questions For Profit.  Not only did I go  over the Idea in depth I was also able to take them to Yahoo Answers while they watched my screen and really show them how to use Yahoo answers.  How to Navigate the site and what to look for.  OK tell me that isn’t more value than telling someone to go to Yahoo Answers and look for questions you can solve. and write a free report.

The whole time I have Camtasia on recording my screen so that I have a nice video recording to use for my own products for generating sales or list building.  Hopefully both if I set it all up correctly.

What this also allowed me to do was something really cool.  It allowed me to begin to branch out and go into new directions.  Instead of just saying create a report and give it away.  I now could do a training on actually showing them hoe to write the report, How to add their Affiliate links, How to Format the report properly and add Index pages, and graphics.  Do you see the potential here?

Also instead of telling someone just to give the report away I am now faced with the opportunity to further my webinar series by creating trainings on how to give it away.  How to list build, which leads to how to set up a squeeze age and the elements of a squeeze page, how to set up an autoresponder, how to create good follow up messages to build relationships with your new subscribers to generate even more sales.

So what else did I get from that little bit of content?  How about where it told them to add Affiliate links to products I do a webinar on Finding Affiliate products that sell and how to best promote them.

The list just kept going on and on with ideas of how I could take that simple 6 page ebook and turn it into a goldmine of profits.  I got all of that from just the first tip it gave me and I still had 3 more to go.  All from a $2.99 ebook that most people looked at as junk and probably sent to trash can heaven.

One of the things I love to do with my PowerPoints is, make sure they have a nice look and feel to them.  I love creating very simple graphics for them using PowerPoint itself.  It gives my presentations some extra perceived value.  I used to go out and pay for a graphic artist to do my graphics until I found I could do some very simple graphics and get the same results.
