What Can I do With Private Label Rights Products

So you did it again…. Another sales page filled with all sorts of good hype and promises of riches un-told if you will just buy the rights to this awesome product and claim it as your own.  Using its crafty persuasion tactics it slowly lures you to the Big Buy Now button just waiting for you like a lion stalking its prey.

OK I guess I am getting carried away a little… but I know that is how you feel.  And guess what it seems to work more times than not.

Don’t believe me go and look on your desk top of your computer right now and locate all of the products you have bought Private Label Rights to that you have done nothing with.

There they are just collecting dust instead of collecting cash into your bank account.

I love Private Label Rights Products.  Plain and simple good good stuff.  Well only if you use them that is.  I don’t really care if I got one that seems like junk once I open it up and look at it.  Those are the diamond in the rough Products like I like to call them.  Those are the ones with so much potential to change.

I have turned many $2-$5 Six page Private Label rights ebooks into 10-12- week or module courses and sold the courses for $497.00  Now that is some serious return on my investment.  Heck I can spend $5 and turn it into a six figure launch.  Of course I have several Joint Venture partners that I can easily contact and have them send out my offer to their list.  But in time you can do the same thing if you get busy and take advantage of the gold mines just setting there waiting for you to start mining.

Private Label Rights allow you to take content that you paid for, alter it in any way you choose (and in fact, it’s encouraged), put your name as the author and use it on the ‘net in ways that help you generate traffic and sales. You can use it for your own products and services or as an affiliate promoting other people’s stuff.

One of the easiest ways for me to take a simple ebook that I have complete Private Label Rights too, is to create a series of PowerPoint presentations from the content that comes from my 6-10 page PLR ebook.

I recently took a 6 page PLR ebook that gave 4 quick and easy tips to generating quick profits and turned it into several weeks of content.  The ebook itself was filled with very little content and mostly full if filler fluff.  Basically useless information.  But it was enough to give me ideas to begin building from.  I started out by Creating  a PowerPoint presentation for each of the 4 quick and easy ways to make money online.

For example one of the ideas was; Answer Questions.  It told them to go to Yahoo. Answers and look for questions people were asking and then right Reports answering the questions and include your Affiliate links to product recommendations and then give away for free and earn commissions.

Basically that is all the real value I got out  that particular section of the ebook.  The rest was filler which added up to about 600 words or so.  What that gave me was a gold mine waiting to be mined.

I created the PowerPoint Basically teaching the Idea of Answering Questions For Profit.  Not only did I go  over the Idea in depth I was also able to take them to Yahoo Answers while they watched my screen and really show them how to use Yahoo answers.  How to Navigate the site and what to look for.  OK tell me that isn’t more value than telling someone to go to Yahoo Answers and look for questions you can solve. and write a free report.

The whole time I have Camtasia on recording my screen so that I have a nice video recording to use for my own products for generating sales or list building.  Hopefully both if I set it all up correctly.

What this also allowed me to do was something really cool.  It allowed me to begin to branch out and go into new directions.  Instead of just saying create a report and give it away.  I now could do a training on actually showing them hoe to write the report, How to add their Affiliate links, How to Format the report properly and add Index pages, and graphics.  Do you see the potential here?

Also instead of telling someone just to give the report away I am now faced with the opportunity to further my webinar series by creating trainings on how to give it away.  How to list build, which leads to how to set up a squeeze age and the elements of a squeeze page, how to set up an autoresponder, how to create good follow up messages to build relationships with your new subscribers to generate even more sales.

So what else did I get from that little bit of content?  How about where it told them to add Affiliate links to products I do a webinar on Finding Affiliate products that sell and how to best promote them.

The list just kept going on and on with ideas of how I could take that simple 6 page ebook and turn it into a goldmine of profits.  I got all of that from just the first tip it gave me and I still had 3 more to go.  All from a $2.99 ebook that most people looked at as junk and probably sent to trash can heaven.

One of the things I love to do with my PowerPoints is, make sure they have a nice look and feel to them.  I love creating very simple graphics for them using PowerPoint itself.  It gives my presentations some extra perceived value.  I used to go out and pay for a graphic artist to do my graphics until I found I could do some very simple graphics and get the same results.

I really believe that Benjamin Franklin said it best, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”

I believe it is the same reason most deer hunters miss the deer on opening day!  In the excitement of seeing that Big Buck we shoot without the necessary preparation it takes to actually hit the deer… We forget to take proper aim!  The story comes back that I just missed a big buck by a couple inches.  It does not matter how many inches the miss was… it was still a miss.

Most people fail at the things we try like Affiliate Marketing  because we get so excited and caught up in the hype and the possibilities of making money that we would rather just jump in and FIRE!

We jump the gun and FIRE First, rather than invest the appropriate time to get READY for our shot and we certainly never even think about our AIM!  On a positive note:  If you aim for nothing there is a good chance you will hit it.

The biggest excuse for this is because it feels “unproductive” to prepare and set up a system… We want or need money or results right now!  Sometimes the circumstance we live in demands this.  I really understand this trust me.  I have been in the situation of needing money to the point it was so stressful I couldn’t take it much anymore.

Every day the phone ringing from debt collectors wanting money that I just did not have.  Not that I didn’t want to pay it… Just did not have it to pay.

But understand this one thing right now… Preparation is how the successful succeed, and if success is really what you want, which I really believe it is, then  proper preperation  is the only way your going to become one of the successful!

I guess the last sentence is the solution to the problem then.  If you want to success at Affiliate Marketing then it is going to take nothing more than proper planning and preparation for your success.

You need to start your planning and preparation by setting the right goals both long and short term goals which we will talk about in my next post.

How To Be Succesful Making Money On The Internet!

Internet Marketing seems to capture the attention of so many people looking to make money online.

It is something I never thought I would do until May of 2007 when I was about to be layed off from my job. Now what would I do.

Well I got quite a bit of flak over this with my critics telling me I could not have done what I did without the help of my successful son Keith Wellman. Well DUH! This used to upset me, but I tell everyone now that if you want to be successful at starting up your home business you better get a successful person in your corner like I did.

It takes surrounding yourself with a team of supporters that care about your results. it takes finding a good coach and mentor that will lead you just as my son Keith led me.

Many of my students as well as most students of other marketers never make a single dime online. Reason is that they are not willing to really invest in their future and doing what it takes to start up a home business.

Affiliate Marketing Survival.  The art and Business of Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate Marketing has always been a topic that has greatly interested me.  There are so many business models that you can follow and earn very nice commissions and make money from home. 

Which Affiliate Marketing Business model to follow is the next question.  A lot of it is going to depend on where you are currently at with your online business.

Are you just starting out without a list, or maybe you have a list and want to go with Affiliate product recommendations to that list.

You basically need to take a look at where you are at right now and find out which business model best fits your current situation.

I do have some Affiliate Marketing advice I would like to share with you though when it comes to product recommendation of Affiliate Products.

Using Product Recommendations To Increase Your Bottom Line

Many marketers know that this is one of the most effective ways in promoting a Affiliate products. If the customers or visitors trust you enough, then they will definitely trust your recommendations. Remember this simple equation: Price resistance diminishes in direct proportion to trust.

1. Watch other affiliate marketers and look at the strategies they are using, and see what is working and what is not.
2. Become the credible expert!  If your visitors feel and believe that you are an expert in your niche, they are more inclined to making that purchase. 
3. Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services. Just think how long it took you to build credibility and trust among your visitors. All that will take to destroy it is one big mistake on your part.
4. Only promote products that match your target Audience and fulfill the needs and wants they Have.  KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS
5. Promote products that position well in your product funnel.  It must make sense to the customer before they purchase.
6. Give recommendations of products that you have 100% confidence in. (Try and test the product and support.) Give a good product review
7. Do not be afraid to mention things that you do not like about a given product or service. (Be careful!) If you can… and you should… provide a bonus offer that takes care of the issues, or fills the holes that need filled that you noticed  with the Affiliate Product you are promoting. Your Bonus offer becomes the solution and more of a reason for the customer to buy.
8. You should never abuse your list. By this, you should never bombard your list with “only” offers.
9. Offer Affiliate Products that can help your list build their business, however the most important thing you need to do first is to build a relationship with them and help them get onto their feet and establish trust and credibility.
10. Only promote offers that your list can use, not because your wallet can use it.
11. Remember your primary purpose is to help your list, and if they succeed or improve from what you provided for  them, they will in turn help you.
12. Remember that it goes both ways and never should be about you only.

Affiliate Marketing can be very rewarding when done properly.  Most people left to their own to try and figure it out usually never make even their first dime.
