How To Get Blog Traffic, Consistent Good Relevant Content

How to get good Blog Traffic,

Getting good quality traffic to your blog is actually rather easy.  It really only takes one really important thing to generate good traffic to your blog and that is Good Relevant Content added to your blog on a Consistent basis.  The key is the word consistent.

I have found time and time again that I would start generating the Blog traffic I was wanting to my blog only to find it slowing down faster than it started.  What was the one thing I stopped doing that was causing the traffic that I had started to come to a stop.

Every time it was the same thing and that was, I failed to be consistent with my blog posting.

My regular readership would stop showing up as soon as the content they were enjoying stopped showing up and so did the new traffic.  Of course when the traffic stopped so did my list building efforts.  With no new traffic there was nobody new showing up to my blog to subscribe to the FREE GIFTS I was offering that would help them in their list building efforts.  So I was basically setting here with a solution to a problem but nobody was finding me.

We need to keep in mind that one of the most important things we can do to generate good quality traffic will be to add high quality, original content. You may actually be able to let the page advertise for itself, more or less, if you can keep it full of good content. Google, and the other major search engines, are continuously scouring the web looking for places that have good relevant content and sites that are updated frequently.

If you do a good job making sure the content on your site is good quality and relevant and optimized for the web, the search engines will do their job to send you the traffic you are looking for.  People search all over the internet for informative sources just waiting to help them solve their problems and if you present them with the solutions through your content, you will find that soon you will be positioned right in their path when they come searching, and   they will keep coming back to your site for a long time and you will have a sustained influx of freely generated traffic.

My biggest problem I found I had in being consistent was the fact that I was trying to run my business and do everything myself and I just plain and simple lacked the time to be consistent with my blogging.

The solution was to hire someone to create content for me.

This is where it got exciting for me.  I contacted my list and a few others I thought would be great at writing for my blog.  What I found was there were several people that really wanted to write for me but they were to scared to actually take the step and start.  They were worried about me not liking the post or worried they might not be able to do the research that was required to create a good post on a topic they might not comprehend.   Basically they were afraid to take the action that was required.  Seems that is what holds more people back than anything.  Fear of failing!

Well you may have noticed that some of the posts I have on my blog are being authored by Harvey Poling jr.

Harvey approached me and said he would like the opportunity to at least try.  I have to admit I was a little surprised and even a little bit worried about this move as he really was not experienced at all in what I do for a living or in writing the content I was looking for.

But then I remembered back to my start and how I knew nothing about what I was about to venture into myself.  I guess what really made me say yes to this new venture was the fact that Harvey was willing to give it a try even if he ended up failing.  Yes he was nervous and a little bit unsure of what he was about to get himself into but he was willing to overcome the fear and give it his best try.

It started out with me writing some articles and then having him re-write them.  Next I would just give him a title or a subject to research and write on.  It was not long before I found myself not even being able to keep up with the videos and blog posts he was sending my way.

Guess who I am paying to write my blog posts…  You guessed it, the one that overcame his fears and gave it his best effort.

So what is my blog traffic looking like since our new found relationship has begun?  It is not where I  want it yet, but what a substantial increase I have seen and a very nice climb in the numbers that are subscribing to my list from my blog traffic. So providing great content not only provides the traffic it also is one of the number one list builders their is.

Of course their are things like ensuring your content is SEO friendly by using the proper Keywords in your content that those coming online will use to search for your content, but it all starts with being consistent and writing good quality content.

Without straying away from our topic and getting deep into Search Engine Optimization, SEO friendly content is really nothing more than just content that was written with some attention paid to how a search engine might see the content.

But I want to be very clear and state that SEO Friendly Writing Does Not Mean you go about Writing for Search Engines

You need to really first and foremost be thinking about writing for people not for search engines when creating your content for your blog.  Search engines ultimately want to provide content that is interesting and informative for their customers too, and who really wants to read a page that is over optimized.  Can we say BORING!

I just want to publicly state that I am very pleased with what Harvey has accomplished not only for my blog but for himself.  He should be an example to many that are facing the fears of taking the required action to begin something new in your life.

You only fail if you don’t try.

What is keeping you from generating the blog traffic you are looking for?  It all starts with consistently providing good relevant content that helps solve your readerships problems.  By doing so you will gain their trust and support and build the credibility that you need in your online business ventures.

Home Business Startup Facing Our Fears

Facing Our Fears A Candid Look at What’s Holding Us Back

Home Business Start up; Facing Our Fears

Home Business Start up; Facing Our Fears

If you are like me, learning all these keywords and concepts like list building, affiliate marketing and lead generation is daunting, but most of us can grasp them. The absorption of these elements can actually be fun and rewarding, especially when we are dreaming of making extra income. Then the realization that it is time to put some of these marketing building blocks to actual use…then the reality hits. You ask yourself the question, can I really do this? Do I want to do this?

I will be honest. I face the same questions you do. I know I need to find a way to generate more income, but that nagging feeling in the back of my mind says, “Come on, this is too good to be true”. I worry about how extra income will affect figuring my taxes. I stress about all the legal red tape will be involved in starting a home business. In a nutshell, I think, maybe I’ll just stay where I’m at.

Do you face these same questions? Do you fear the risk of failure…or even of success? I think we probably all do. I think it’s part of being human. So what makes one person take the chance and another just sit on the sidelines and watch others make money?

I am fascinated by Jeff Wellman’s story of how he started in Internet marketing. After losing his job at a well-known manufacturer, facing the prospect of being middle-aged with no prospects, it’s a nightmare that haunts us all. Nevertheless, Jeff found a mentor, his own Son, Keith who helped and coached his Dad to start a new career.

There are some people that become entrepreneurs by necessity, like Jeff did. A job crisis forced him to turn a corner and try something new. He had to face fear, while learning all types of new things. His situation had its own particular challenge, losing ones income and finding a new way to make money. Not a pleasant prospect, but his example is inspirational. He wasn’t too proud to let his Son teach him some new tricks.

You may be like me and be fortunate enough to currently have a job. You have a good life, but you have some dreams to make it better. You may want to retire soon, but worry there is not quite enough money to go around. You may dream of owning a better home or send your children to college. You have your dreams, but fear is keeping you from challenging your comfort zone. Does this sound familiar? It sure does to me.

Obviously, no responsible person should jump into something without the facts. That is why we endorse these training programs, so you can intelligently make new career path by knowing the key principles of internet marketing. Once you have gleaned enough of the facts, then you must decide what to do with them.

I am challenging you, along with myself to try something new this summer. Why not take some of the first steps toward financial freedom? Maybe you can create a domain name, start a blog or go all out and begin marketing your own creation or purchase a PLR product. The main thing is, let us start somewhere. We shouldn’t expect quick results from a get rich quick scheme. We know there will be work involved. There will be missteps and failures, but we can get up again after being knocked down.

Think about it and take your first step today. Maybe it’s just signing up to Jeff’s email list to receive a free offer and learn about some exciting ideas you can incorporate into your financial plan. I wrote this article for you, and I wrote it for myself. Remember, dreams are just dreams until we work them into reality.

I challenge you right now to get started by just signing up for this FREE gift from Jeff Wellman from Layoff Your Boss Marketing LLC and let’s see where it leads you.

Profit Instruments-Why You Will Fail-Ritoban Chakrabarti Is Not A Scam

Profit Instruments-Ritoban Chakrabarti review. Is it a scam is the question all doubters have at the top of their list for questions to ask. In my opinion it is an outstanding Affiliate Marketing Product that will get you results if you give it an honest chance.

I have been given a copy of this product to review and the more I did into it the better it gets.

Many doubters will take a look at this product and from past experiences with other products will set them self up to fail with it immediately before they even give it a chance to work.

From past experiences your mind will begin to ask all the questions that will raise doubts in your mind about the validity of this product or any other product you look at. Your mind will begin to tell you that it probably will not get you any better results than the last experience you had. It will due this to protect you from the pain of failure.

Let me ask you a very serious question… Do you honestly expect to win or lose? Now really be serious about answering that question. Your first reactive response is of course to say; “I expect to win.”

But what I really find when dealing with students I teach, is that the language of so many suggests that when faced with an opportunity of any description, they really don’t expect to win. Therefore, by default, they are setting themselves up to lose.

Example of something I hear a lot from students that are setting themselves up to fail… “Well the last thing I did didn’t get me any results so I am hoping that I am not getting myself in the same situation.”

Does that sound like someone that is expecting anything different from the experience being presented to them at that moment? Absolutely not. They are not ever expecting the results to be any different than the previous experience therefore by default they are setting themselves up for the same failing experience and that is a shame. They are saying they hope it is but they don’t really believe it is going to be different. Once they fail they will in true fashion turn to the product owner and tell him what an awful product he or she has and ask for a refund and call that person a scam artist. Happens all of the time.

This usually happens within the first 72 hours of buying a product. That’s right long before it was ever given a real sincere opportunity to help them out in anyway.

The language you speak is simply a manifestation of the way that your mind thinks and the belief system that it has. How is it that your words get assembled in the first place?

They have to be thought – either consciously or sub-consciously.

What is the language you hear yourself speak when you are faced with an opportunity? Is it positive or is it negative?

Now I totally agree that you need to use caution when buying something on the internet from those you do not know or trust yet. There are those that are out to do harm to others by scamming you out of your money and they can come across as being very sincere most of the time. That is why I recommend finding someone that has found their own success and following them and learn to rely on their recommendations.

And before you ask the answer is NO you do not need to buy everything that person suggests or promotes to you. Some products will be a great fit for you and others will not. Follow your gut and then once you make the decision to purchase the recommendation then do everything you can to make it work.. Stop at nothing. Do not let your past experiences dictate your results.

List Building- Maintaining the Quality & the Size of Your List

List Building- Defeat the Twins of Failure in your Online Business

fear of failure
Yes, you’ve heard it before from us, but your most important online business asset is list building. It’s a subject worth repeating because it is the engine that cranks out sales repeatedly Gathering customers by aggressively using email marketing strategies like squeeze pages, giveaways and interesting, catchy copy is a must, if you are going to succeed.

Set up a plan of attack to contact those who have given you their email address. Do you have an interesting free product or eBook to give away? How often are you going to contact them? Will they be bombarded with sales pitches every time they receive a communication from you?

Giving some thought to these questions will make sure you do not waste your first new contacts and turn them off before they start buying from you. Here are some suggestions on maintaining the quality and size of your list.

1. You should email your contacts at least once a week and more often initially, perhaps daily, if they have purchased something from you.

2. Don’t try to sell something on every email visit. Give away some useful information and tempt them for more. Offer a freebie every so often. If your email list knows they may receive free stuff, they are less likely to press the delete button.

3. Don’t forget to keep the mail carrier working. Sending a DVD or CD is a low cost, but perceived high value way to stand out from the other junk mail clutter.

Lastly, be aware of a dastardly menace to your online sales. These dealers of doom will always drag you down and punish your paycheck. Who are these infamous villains?
Well, most people call them Fear and Laziness.

One of the two biggest challenges to your online sales is the all so common desire to slack off. Remember, you are the boss of your online business. Are you going to allow yourself a break every time Jiggling with the Stars comes on? Should you take a little nap, or polish up your presentation to your customers? Your paycheck depends on your willingness to get at it. The famous artist, Vincent Van Gogh, you know the guy that cut off his ear said, Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together. You have to admit, cutting off your ear may be crazy, but it is not lazy.

Okay, now we are going to tackle the second Twin of Failure….Fear! Yes, we all have it. It comes to all those who desire to try something new. It’s the “what if” and the “how can I” thoughts that haunt all who want to start their own business. Remember no one else can convince you that you can succeed, no matter how hard they try. You are the only one that can decide whether to take the chance and start an online business. The only true failure is one who never tries anything. My granddaughter’s first attempts at walking seemed a dismal failure after falling down over and over again. But if she concluded that mankind was not meant to walk just because she fell down, she would still be crawling today. You can do this…but only you can decide to do it.

Let’s say the mantra together shall we, “list building, list building, list building”. Remember the old saying, “It’s all in the list”…or was it wrist? When it comes to your online business, the “list” is the watchword you need to keep your focus.

Facing The Giants Of Failure… I Give Up Please, Send Me A Refund!

ONE little ME and ONE BIG GIANT BRICK WALL… I am out of here!

Well it seems I have hit another brick wall and I have had enough, so I am just going to have to GIVE UP!  The Giant is really big this time and looks like I better count my losses while I am still alive and able to run!

Just finished reading emails from customers of a product that I am involved in and thought I would share, because I just bet you can identify.

WOW!  Seems like several have hit a brick wall and are throwing their hands up in the air and are surrendering to the Brick Walls and fears.

Heard it all in these emails.

Jeff, great course but… Reply: But What?

Jeff, My finances are so bad and things are so desperate that I just can’t see how I can concentrate enough to do this right now… Reply: How much worse does it need to get, and if you can’t do it now how will you do it once it gets worse?

Jeff, I just can’t do this right now maybe later… Reply:Later? When is that…I still have not discovered this later. Does later ever come? If so hang in there and Get-er-Done :)

Jeff, I am sure this is a good course if I had the time to go through it…could you please send me a refund… Reply: Are you kidding me…You need to at least open it up and try. If not you need to stop and think about what is going on in your life right now that may get in your way and prevent you from getting one more thing accomplished before you buy another product.

Jeff, I have hit yet another brick wall and I just don’t know how much more I can take… Reply: If you don’t face this one and conquer it like the last one you faced and beat, you will soon find out how much you can take, and it won’t be a good conclusion. What got you through the last one? who helped you? You have to do it again with the same effort and force, or maybe a little more but you can make it once again!  You have to!

Jeff, You guys have created such an amazing course but it seems I just am not meant to make this happen for me… Reply: Who is your success meant for then?

I have been replying to these emails all morning and decided enough was enough after I got one reply back saying, “Jeff you just didn’t understand what I am going through but if you would have had to do this by your self and would not have had Keith’s help I bet you would not be in the position you are in right now.

I was going to reply back to that email but decided I was not going to let it have a negative effect on what I am going to try and type here…so I deleted the thing into wherever our deleted emails go and came here to post to all.

Yup I sure did have my son’s help…Guess what You have help also. Since that time I have been stuck many times and found myself wondering if I was cut out to make this happen for myself.

Faced some of the same brick walls you face and maybe even a couple different ones.  But brick walls are usually self erected or erected by someone else and they can be blown up or taken back down one brick at a time.

Now facing my brick walls I had a couple choices to make just like you do when you come to those stuck times or brick walls along your path.

Choice 1: Face the brick wall as just another challenge to overcome and find a way around it, over it, or smash it to pieces and go through.

Choice 2: Look at it as a big Giant that is way too big for me to take down and quick do a U-turn and run the opposite way looking for a new direction to take hoping there will not be another obstacle in the way on that path.

Choice 2 is the most traveled path, but the only problem with this choice is that there is always going to be another obstacle. And if we don’t get them out of our way or defeat them, we will always be looking for another way to go…and soon you will run out of places to run and just give in to the obstacles in defeat.

We all face giants in life and some of them are pretty big and scary.  But look back in your life and see how many of them you have already defeated.

How did you do it before? Please do not tell me that you have not faced any that you know of or that they were not as big as they are now.  The reason you do not see the giants of your past as big as the present ones now are because the ones of your past are now defeated. Defeat the new ones with the same force.  Make it happen for you, not just watch everyone else around you make it happen for them.  That is just plain a bunch of BULL!

If they are not defeated yet it is time to get them defeated so you can move on and know how to take care of the ones in your way now.

What is going to take for you to say, ” I am worthy of Success, and I deserve to make this happen for me?”

I know someone just thought or said, I don’t know how or you don’t know what I have been through.  Your right but you don’t know what I have been through, or Keith, or anyone else that has faced and beat the giants, or smashed the brick walls. It really does not matter if you know either.  But ask yourself.  Have you really tried?

I am not just saying have you tried…I am asking you to ask yourself HAVE ”I” REALLY TRIED!

I am sure I may have even ticked a couple people off and I say… GOOD!

I don’t even want to know where my life would be right now if I would have let one of the brick walls stop me from smashing through it.

Each and every one of us have the capabilities of achieving success and turning our dreams into reality, but unfortunately not all will use the capabilities they have.

Will you?

Will you keep going through the course until you get it?

Will you show up to the Live Q&A calls and ask questions you can’t figure out?

Will you use the forum and take advantage of the unlimited amount of resources you have in each other?

Will YOU?

Let’s make 2009 Rock for you.

OK let me know what you’re thinking. I need more info for product content :)

Hey don’t think badly about me for saying or thinking that.  It is what I am supposed to do. Pay attention to the customers and find out what they need and want, and what they are thinking, and what problems they have. and then provide a solution.

You have access to the same information if you come back and read the comments.  You just need to use it.

Maybe you can offer some advice to others on how to throw down a giant :)

Now I understand that if you are reading this you may not have all of the tools and access to the same tools I have described but it is available if you want it.  But if you had it would you be willing to use everything that was available to you.

WOULD YOU REALLY?  Easy to say yes right now isn’t it… but what about the GIANT?

Well here is access to all of the tools The Auto Pilot Wealth Institute make it happen!

Jeff

PS: Great post by Heather Vale. Seems we are all on the same track this Brand New Year.  I remember seeing her as one of the big scary giants that was standing in my way t success.  When I did reasearch on her before Interviewing her I was met by some words that terrified the heck out of me… Heather Vale, The Barbara Walters of the Internet,  Yikes!  Well they were just words and caused me no harm.  What I found is that it wasn’t her that was keeping me from doing the interview or the words…it was me.  http://heathervale.com/blog/2009/01/02/banish-fear-anxiety-and-worry/trackback/
