ONE little ME and ONE BIG GIANT BRICK WALL… I am out of here!

Well it seems I have hit another brick wall and I have had enough, so I am just going to have to GIVE UP!  The Giant is really big this time and looks like I better count my losses while I am still alive and able to run!

Just finished reading emails from customers of a product that I am involved in and thought I would share, because I just bet you can identify.

WOW!  Seems like several have hit a brick wall and are throwing their hands up in the air and are surrendering to the Brick Walls and fears.

Heard it all in these emails.

Jeff, great course but… Reply: But What?

Jeff, My finances are so bad and things are so desperate that I just can’t see how I can concentrate enough to do this right now… Reply: How much worse does it need to get, and if you can’t do it now how will you do it once it gets worse?

Jeff, I just can’t do this right now maybe later… Reply:Later? When is that…I still have not discovered this later. Does later ever come? If so hang in there and Get-er-Done

Jeff, I am sure this is a good course if I had the time to go through it…could you please send me a refund… Reply: Are you kidding me…You need to at least open it up and try. If not you need to stop and think about what is going on in your life right now that may get in your way and prevent you from getting one more thing accomplished before you buy another product.

Jeff, I have hit yet another brick wall and I just don’t know how much more I can take… Reply: If you don’t face this one and conquer it like the last one you faced and beat, you will soon find out how much you can take, and it won’t be a good conclusion. What got you through the last one? who helped you? You have to do it again with the same effort and force, or maybe a little more but you can make it once again!  You have to!

Jeff, You guys have created such an amazing course but it seems I just am not meant to make this happen for me… Reply: Who is your success meant for then?

I have been replying to these emails all morning and decided enough was enough after I got one reply back saying, “Jeff you just didn’t understand what I am going through but if you would have had to do this by your self and would not have had Keith’s help I bet you would not be in the position you are in right now.

I was going to reply back to that email but decided I was not going to let it have a negative effect on what I am going to try and type here…so I deleted the thing into wherever our deleted emails go and came here to post to all.

Yup I sure did have my son’s help…Guess what You have help also. Since that time I have been stuck many times and found myself wondering if I was cut out to make this happen for myself.

Faced some of the same brick walls you face and maybe even a couple different ones.  But brick walls are usually self erected or erected by someone else and they can be blown up or taken back down one brick at a time.

Now facing my brick walls I had a couple choices to make just like you do when you come to those stuck times or brick walls along your path.

Choice 1: Face the brick wall as just another challenge to overcome and find a way around it, over it, or smash it to pieces and go through.

Choice 2: Look at it as a big Giant that is way too big for me to take down and quick do a U-turn and run the opposite way looking for a new direction to take hoping there will not be another obstacle in the way on that path.

Choice 2 is the most traveled path, but the only problem with this choice is that there is always going to be another obstacle. And if we don’t get them out of our way or defeat them, we will always be looking for another way to go…and soon you will run out of places to run and just give in to the obstacles in defeat.

We all face giants in life and some of them are pretty big and scary.  But look back in your life and see how many of them you have already defeated.

How did you do it before? Please do not tell me that you have not faced any that you know of or that they were not as big as they are now.  The reason you do not see the giants of your past as big as the present ones now are because the ones of your past are now defeated. Defeat the new ones with the same force.  Make it happen for you, not just watch everyone else around you make it happen for them.  That is just plain a bunch of BULL!

If they are not defeated yet it is time to get them defeated so you can move on and know how to take care of the ones in your way now.

What is going to take for you to say, ” I am worthy of Success, and I deserve to make this happen for me?”

I know someone just thought or said, I don’t know how or you don’t know what I have been through.  Your right but you don’t know what I have been through, or Keith, or anyone else that has faced and beat the giants, or smashed the brick walls. It really does not matter if you know either.  But ask yourself.  Have you really tried? 

I am not just saying have you tried…I am asking you to ask yourself HAVE ”I” REALLY TRIED!

I am sure I may have even ticked a couple people off and I say… GOOD!

I don’t even want to know where my life would be right now if I would have let one of the brick walls stop me from smashing through it.

Each and every one of us have the capabilities of achieving success and turning our dreams into reality, but unfortunately not all will use the capabilities they have.

Will you?

Will you keep going through the course until you get it?

Will you show up to the Live Q&A calls and ask questions you can’t figure out?

Will you use the forum and take advantage of the unlimited amount of resources you have in each other?

Will YOU?

Hey don’t think badly about me for saying or thinking that.  It is what I am supposed to do. Pay attention to the customers and find out what they need and want, and what they are thinking, and what problems they have. and then provide a solution.

You have access to the same information if you come back and read the comments.  You just need to use it.

Maybe you can offer some advice to others on how to throw down a giant

Now I understand that if you are reading this you may not have all of the tools and access to the same tools I have described but it is available if you want it.  But if you had it would you be willing to use everything that was available to you.

WOULD YOU REALLY?  Easy to say yes right now isn’t it… but what about the GIANT?

We are giving our Mind traffic or Mind Chatter a GREAT DEAL OF POWER in our life!

One of the things I have noticed while looking over a lot of the homework assignments, and answering questions from The Million Dollar Advantage Program students that my son Keith and I have been doing together is that several of the students are sufferring from something  i like to call Mind Traffic or mind chatter.

I recently did a webinar for my coaching students on this topic and I want to share a little with you from that webinar…

There are a lot of people that are having a lot of problem with mind chatter.  We are letting all of the negative chatter going on inside our heads control our success.  We are giving our Mind traffic or Mind Chatter a GREAT DEAL OF POWER in our life.

We’re having conversations in our heads all the time. 

I have noticed it seem there are many of us that are like a gerbil running on a wheel in its cage – feet working furiously, but not getting anywhere.  Like the gerbil, our minds love to be busy. 

In the absence of other information, our minds sometimes fill themselves with worries, doubts or fears.  It seems that our mind is constantly looking for the worst-case scenario.

I think this pattern originates in childhood.  As a child we are always facing new situations, and we risked embarrassment or injury if we didn’t respond skillfully. Or how other’s feel we should have responded.   So we become vigilant  in our minds about how we can protect ourselves from feeling the feelings of embarrassment or  failure.

The voice that started off warning us about potential danger becomes hyper-vigilant and is always looking for danger  or ways to protect you against these feelings of failure or embarrassment sometimes seeing it when it’s not actually there. 

Our minds get busy with a sort of self-conscious “brainstorming.”

We have to begin to create a new belief that includes using conscious controlled attention as the basis for keeping your mind chatter under control.

First, take a breath.  Calm yourself.  Let your mind become clearer.  Remember that thoughts are just thoughts and worries are just worries; they aren’t reality.  Well at least not yet!  But to may people let them become reality.

Think of creating an internal supporter to sit at the committee table.  Unlike your critic inside your head (who spends all his time looking for ways that you’re screwing up, or telling you why you are going to fail at what you are doing), this voice is one of encouragement. 

This controlled voice might say:  Hey, you’ve been here before.  You know what to do.  Don’t listen to those other guys! It might say, “Hey remember the last brick wall you faced?  You thought it was going to defeat you also but it didnt. You made it through and you will this time. Lets just take afew minutes and see how we can come up with a solution for this wall.”

Begin to use “affirmations” or sayings that you can say in the face of your negative mind chatter, to counteract it. Like, I can do this, or, I am good enough, God doesn’t make junk, How can I make this work, I will find a way!

What if we take all that energy, used by the mind for just chattering away about what was, or about the fears of the moment, and focused all that energy into being what we were created to be, and do?

Ask yourself a couple questions…

Why do you want to achieve the success you are looking for right now, and what is the reward of your success?

What are the consequences if you fail at what you are doing?  If you fail at making this course work for you and you do not acheive the success you desire and crave so much what will be the cost?

Maybe you have had problems with negative mind chatter or you are having troubles with it now.  Let the rest of us hear from you and let us know what is going on or maybe how you deal with this topic.

Passion to Profit-Finding your Passionate niche Market

WHAT’S YOUR PASSION? You must find your true Passion… Turn your passion into profit…

No matter what way you have heard it I am sure you have heard this  more times than you can count.

What is it that gets people stuck with this step more than almost any step that needs to be taken when trying to start up your online business.

I have coached several new marketers and each time It seems that the majority end ups frozen in place the minute I ask the phrase…what is your Passion.

Well I have decided that I do not agree that you have to start out passionate about what you are doing to make money.  But you need to become passionate about what you are doing.  So for now on I am not going to start out telling my coaching students to find a Niche that they are passionate about when they first start out.

If they can figure that question out and it works out that they are passionate about the Niche they start in great… But if not oh well… let’s just get started moving forward in something that is going to be profitable and then discover what our passion is as we go.

When I first got my start online I do not think I could have answered this question right away either.  My passion was God and my family.  But ask me how in the world would I ever be able to monetize either one of those subjects and I would have stared at you with a blank look on my face.

My son Keith Wellman did something very smart with me.  He offered me a choice of 5 categories that he knew was profitable already and he said pick one that you know nothing about and let’s get started.

Well it was easy as I knew nothing about any of the 5 topics he gave me to pick from.  Most certainly there was no passion involved with the choice I made either.

I picked Affiliate Marketing and within 3 weeks I put together a product which I called  Layoff Your Boss http://www.layoffyourboss.com and launched a very successful launch that generated over $100,000.00 in just under 30 days.

Ths was fantastic but as time went on something began to happen.  I began to lose interest in what I was doing and I found myself procrastinating and not wanting to even keep going.  Even though I knew I was doing something that had the possibility to generate more money than I would even know what to do with, I just had no drive to keep doing what I was doing.

I was ready to go back to work for someone else…UNTIL something amazing happened.

After my second product I began to start coaching and mentoring the customers that had just bought my product and doing everything I could to help them get started online.  I began to build tremendous relationships with those I was helping and I started seeing results happening in the lives of those I was coaching. 

My students began to thank me for taking the time to actually care about whether or not they succeeded.  Every little success I seen one of my students make drove me to do more and soon I found myself waking up in the morning ready to go.  Ready to find out how I could help someone else that day.  When I went to bed at night I felt a sense of gratification that what I did during the day was something of value and made a difference in the life of someone else.

What happened that made the difference of wanting to quit and give up to feeling motivated and empowered, and ready to succeed no matter what it took? 

I found my passion.  My passion was there waiting for me to discover what it was…and it was right there in the middle of something I did not start out enjoying at all.

Yes you must discover what your passion truly is but don’t get so caught up on the word Passion that you never find out what it really is.

What am I passionate about?

Answering this question honestly is the only way you’re going to make a go of things. No matter what your ultimate goal is, if you are not interested in what you wake up each day to do, you will not keep at it, and you will not be successful.

You must find it if you don’t know it. It will empower you to attain your dreams faster.  It will keep you going in the bad times, It will keep you motivated in the sluggish times, It will keep your dreams alive and keep you on track to achieve your goals.

Just don’t let it stop you dead in your tracks before you find out what your true passion really is.

I am very fortunate to be a part of such an amazing group of people called the IMPACT ACTIN TEAM.

We have all been a big art of bringing awareness to Teen Suicide Prevention helping out a very special young man by the name of Deremiah *CPE

From all of the changes in Deremiah’s life he found himself in the midst of gang violence, welfare, government cheese and having to move to one of the wildest high schools on Chicago’s South Side.

Struggling with depression and crying profusely for weeks on end Deremiah lost hope in everything including his self.

His dreams were destroyed. It really seemed to Deremiah that he really had nothing to live for and with his father now stationed on the other side of the planet and his mother still struggling to maintain her emotional stability Deremiah gave up.  He no longer wanted to live.

But Deremiah changed and found his faith and his hope for the future It was now replaced with a bigger mission to help hurting children and Deremiah has been reaching out ever since to at-risk children and making a difference in their lives.

The Impact Action Team is Doing what we can to Make an IMPACT for Deremiah and teens that have found themselves like Deremiah once was feeling like they really have nothing else to live for.

If we can just convince one person that they indeed are valuable and give them the hope and self-worth that Deremiah found I beleive that IMPACT will have been accomplished in a huge way.

I am also excited abou the fact that I will be helping Ken McArthur with his IMPACT 101 coaching program.

My desire is to see beginners succeed and give them some hope that they can make it and finally come to a place of understanding how to fit the pieces together of starting up an online business.

To Laying Off Your Boss Together

I am so excited today.  I had one of the coolest things happen.

A simple act of giving to others returned a very cool reward.

 I am very big on Giving to others and believing that it will bereturned back to you in amazing and abundantly ways.

Well once again this was proven to be very true.

I recently held a webinar for a couple of special people from Ken McArthur’s Impact Action Team that I am involved on.  Took a few minutes out of my day to help a couple of beginner marketers get over some struggles they were having trying to figure out Aweber, so that they could get building relationships with their lists.

I set up a webinar and took them inside my account and showed them how to set up a list and create a broadcast and follow up messages and create the web form to add to their squeeze page.  I had a great
time and I enjoy doing this for others.

Well the students that I was teaching enjoyed the class and went to Twitter.com and shared with others that I just shared with them a great class on understanding AWeber.  How cool is that!

Well it didn’t end there…Today in the mail I received a package from AWeber.

When I opened it up there were two pair of very nice socks with the AWeber name on them…with a note from Justin Premick the educational marketing manager at AWeber thanking me for sharing my knowledge and
recommending AWeber to others.

I am just so excited over two pair of socks,  well it isn’t the socks although they are very nice and I thank AWeber for this kind gesture.

What I am excited about is watching something totally exciting in action.

My goal is to provide those that come to me for instruction or coaching, to give them my best.  To go above and beyond what other marketer’s are willing to do for the customer.  This is part of my Unique Selling Position in the marketplace.

I want you to come to me as the marketer of your choice for getting the understanding and help that you not only may need but that you deserve to have.

Well in doing so, those that I help go out and spread the news about how my programs have helped them to succeed and that they have never found the quality of my program anywheres else.  Therefore they are
recommending my program without me ever having to advertise.

Well in this case it didn’t stop there, because AWeber happened to see what I was doing and thanked me for it and now I am in return promoting their service because of two pair of socks I received in the mail.

This is a great example of the best kind of advertising you can get.  Happy customers spreading the word viral.

If you do not have an autoresponder service as of yet I really recommend that you give AWeber a try…they really care about their customers, which aligns totally with the way my way of thinking a business should be run.
